Job summary

Facilities Engineering Contractor in the Slough area seeks a Technical Manager to lead the data centre technical operations, ensuring 100% availability of critical services and training engineers to high standards.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, you will drive safety, risk assessments, and approval of technical paperwork, including switching schedules and SOPs, while acting as a Senior Authorised Person for HV/LV and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications and experience with HV/LV systems.
• HVAC and BMS controls knowledge desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in data centres or critical environments helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of critical engineering services and projects.
• Act as focal point for queries and technical escalation.
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality standards across the site.
• Develop and train the engineering team and sign off on new recruits.
