Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking an experienced Structural Quality Package Manager to own the quality management of the structural package on a major data centre project in Slough. You will develop and manage Quality Plans, oversee ITPs and coordinate with engineers, construction managers and client representatives.

The role requires strong QA/QC experience on large construction schemes, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and solid knowledge of UK standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Structural Quality, QA/QC or Package Management.
• Experience on major construction projects.
• Experience managing structural packages.
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction quality processes and inspection regimes.
• Experience managing ITPs, NCRs, RFIs, inspections, snagging and quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings, specs and technical documentation.
• Experience with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants and client teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proactive, organized and detail-oriented.
• Good knowledge of UK construction standards and quality requirements.
• Relevant construction, engineering or quality qualification, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for quality management of the structural package.
• Develop, implement and manage project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure structural works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and quality hold/witness points.
• Monitor subcontractor quality performance and workmanship.
• Review and manage ITRs, RFIs, NCRs, observations and corrective actions.
• Lead the investigation and close-out of quality issues.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality walks.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, construction managers, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Ensure quality documentation is completed progressively throughout the works.
• Monitor materials and workmanship against approved specifications.
• Manage snagging, defects and outstanding quality items through to completion.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Provide regular quality reporting to the project management team.
• Ensure all quality records are complete and suitable for final handover.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the project and supply chain.
