Job summary

Workrate is seeking professional Security Officers to support data center facilities, delivering high-standard access control, CCTV monitoring, and front-of-house service for enterprise clients, engineers, and stakeholders.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to work 60 hours per week on 7-day rotating shifts. You will uphold strict security protocols to protect client assets and ensure uninterrupted service.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA license (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) is required.
• Experience in data center, critical infrastructure, or security environments is desirable.
• Ability to work 24/7 shift patterns (days and nights).

Responsibilities

• Manage and control access to the data center using access control systems and visitor management platforms.
• Verify and authorize access for customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Conduct internal and external patrols to protect the facility and perimeter security.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents or breaches.
• Provide professional front-of-house support, including customer check-in and escorts.
• Log incidents, audits, and compliance records.
• Support operations during maintenance activities and deliveries.
• Collaborate with site operations, engineering teams, and client representatives.
