Job summary

QBE Insurance Group is seeking a Data Centre Proposition leader to shape the customer proposition and future direction of its Data Centres business. You will build market insight, cultivate relationships with operators, developers and service providers, and translate findings into value for underwriting and product strategy.

You will lead external engagement, define offerings, identify partnerships, and help QBE differentiate through resilient, data-driven solutions that meet evolving customer

Qualifications

  • Deep Data Centre industry experience.
  • Strong network across operators, developers, investors and service providers.
  • Proven ability to shape propositions around customer needs.
  • Experience assessing market opportunities and partnerships.
  • Experience bringing propositions to market or across risk, tech, or insurance domains.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with Data Centre operators, developers and partners.
  • Translate external market insight into actionable intelligence for underwriters and stakeholders.
  • Define future Data Centres proposition including services, products and partnerships.
  • Identify strategic partners to strengthen the proposition and resilience offerings.
  • Drive growth through industry engagement and broker/client discussions.
  • Ensure proposition decisions reflect customer needs and market demand.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data Centre Proposition leader to shape the customer proposition and future direction of QBE’s Data Centres business.

This role is designed to bring external market insight, customer relationships and sector credibility. The role will help define where QBE can create long-term value, what customer needs are currently underserved, and what capabilities or partnerships may be required to build a differentiated market position.

Your New Role
  • Build trusted relationships with Data Centre operators, developers, investors and service providers to deepen QBE’s market insight and credibility.
  • Act as a strong connection to customers, ensuring proposition decisions reflect customer needs, market demand and the future direction of the sector.
  • Turn external insight into useful intelligence for underwriters and other internal stakeholders.
  • Help define the future Data Centres proposition, including capability gaps, new services, products, advisory support and partnership opportunities.
  • Create growth opportunities through direct industry engagement and support strategic broker, client and partner discussions.
  • Identify strategic partners that can strengthen the proposition and support broader risk, resilience and lifecycle solutions.
  • Connect market insight, customer needs, ecosystem development and proposition innovation to support QBE’s long-term differentiation.

About You
  • Deep Data Centre industry experience and a strong network across operators, developers, investors and service providers.
  • Credibility engaging senior executives and the ability to shape propositions around emerging customer needs.
  • Experience assessing market opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
  • Experience bringing new propositions to market, or working across risk management, resilience, technology, infrastructure or insurance solutions, would be helpful but is not essential.
