Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager for its Data Centre team in London. You will lead large-scale, ground-up data centre construction projects across Europe, overseeing delivery from inception to commissioning and interfacing with clients and consultants.

The role requires professional qualification in construction-related fields, chartered status or on track to achieve it, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and project life cycles from

Competenze

Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, or architecture.
Has obtained chartered status or on path to achieving this.
A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception through to completion and post-project review.
Excellent knowledge and experience of the main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
Design, management or construction experience within the general construction environment (ideally residential, office, fit-outs and health & education).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on approaches to achieve client objectives.
Leading the establishment of overall success criteria for the project (time, cost, technical, performance).
Planning and ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems for the project.
Project planning, including production of the detailed project plan.
Advising upon the procurement of resources.
Leading and facilitating the cross-functional project team.
Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including KPI usage.
Managing change control process.
Monitoring and advising upon project finances.
Managing flow of project information between team and client via meetings and reports.
Producing formal project progress and other reports.
Interfacing with client and other consultants at all stages.
