Job description

Description

As a Data Center Manager at Amazon, you will help operate the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure — the foundation that powers everything from everyday cloud services to the most demanding Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning workloads. As AWS continues to build and scale, our data centers increasingly host high-density AI/ML and accelerated computing alongside our established services, and you will lead the teams that keep this critical infrastructure running safely, reliably, and at pace. We encounter interesting, challenging and complex problems every day. Being a technical manager at Amazon means you can innovate to solve these issues and help drive Operational Excellence across every area of your role.

You will be a proven manager with experience leading teams of high performers. You will have the ability to refine and develop processes that optimize operational excellence in every area of your role, and to drive performance to match the pace at which we build and operate our data centers. As emerging technologies — such as high-density GPU and AI accelerator platforms, advanced power distribution, and liquid-cooling systems — become an increasingly important part of how our data centers run, you will help your team adopt new methods and rise to meet evolving technical demands. You will ideally have previous experience in data centers or a similar technical environment, with a track record of developing strong relationships across both internal and external teams.
