Job summary

Amour Recruitment is recruiting a Data Centre Engineer for a long-standing client in Portsmouth, Hampshire. You will join an expanding team responsible for maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and decommissioning of business-critical data centres.

The role involves ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining stakeholder communications, and covering hardware and data centre operations with IT service management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience with enterprise storage platforms.
• Prior data centre experience.
• IT service management experience.
• Currently holding SC Clearance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Hardware support for data centre equipment and infrastructure.
• Datacentre operations to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Incident and service management across the data centre.
• Change and project support for ongoing improvements.

Amour Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Data Centre Engineer to join our long standing client based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

In this exciting opportunity, you'll join a expanding team, supporting the maintenance and upkeep of their main data centre based in portsmouth. The role will see you cover everything from troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and decommissioning of business critical datacentres.

This role will cover a key area of the business, and you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery, whilst maintaining communications with business stakeholders throughout.

Hours

9:00-17:30 Monday to Friday

Salary

£45,000 to £48,000 Basic, with £7,800 on-call bonus + Overtime paid at time and a half.
