Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Testing Manager to oversee the Fixed Electrical Testing programme across 13 data centre sites. You will supervise two APs, ensuring safe HV 11kV and LV testing and uninterrupted operations, with hands-on AP duties when required.

The role requires active AP qualifications, strong leadership, and a focus on safety, policy adherence, and stakeholder coordination across the estate.

Qualifications

• Authorised Person (HV/LV) qualification - ACTIVE and CURRENT.
• C&G 2391 Inspection, Test & Certification (or equivalent).
• BS 7671 (Current Edition) - IET Wiring Regulations.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or City & Guilds 2320/2360.
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering UK Level 3 Qualification or equivalent (time-served apprenticeship).
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability of technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as designated AP for 11kV networks and LV distribution across 13 sites.
• Provide AP cover during leave to ensure continuous programme delivery.
• Perform safe isolations and manage PtW and RAMS documentation.
• Enforce LOTO protocols and supervise SSOW compliance.
• Develop SOPs/EOPs for FET activities and review third-party RAMS.
• Audit PtW, CoIs and LOTO across all sites.
• Lead site meetings and provide concise reports to LTOM.
