Job summary

PRS is seeking a Multi Skilled Electrical or Mechanical Data Centre Shift Technician based at a state-of-the-art data centre in the Hillingdon area. You will join a specialist Critical M&E team responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of single and three-phase power, UPS, generators, HV systems, and HVAC plant.

Fully qualified engineers with an apprenticeship or time-served experience in M&E maintenance will fit in, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified engineers with a background in Critical M&E maintenance.
• Apprenticeship or time-served experience in M&E environments is preferred.
• Experience with single & three-phase power, UPS, power generators, HV systems, and HVAC plant.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance at a Data Centre.
• Cover single & three-phase power and associated infrastructure.
• Work within a specialist Critical team in a state-of-the-art facility.

We are currentlyseekinganadditional experiencedproactive Critical M&E Facilities ShiftTechnicianto be based at a 6Mw Data Centre inthe Hillingdon area of London, working directly with the Data Hosting Company. The complex is known to have a very friendly atmosphere and can boast above average Staff Retention Levels to the envy of their close competitors. You would be working within a specialist Critical team you would be based ata state-of-the-arttechnicalData Centre that offers an excellent modern and clean environment to work within.

This is an opportunity not to be missedwith easytravelaccess out of the centre of London. With the current global uncertainty This role is worth a potential salary of£55kincl. Annual Bonus, plus opportunities to boost this further with overtime paid at premium rates.

Fully qualifiedengineers cancome from a Critical background or other Engineering maintenance environments, such as Pharmaceutical, Power stations, Banking, Industrial or Maritime engineering. Candidates should ideally have completed an apprenticeship or have equivalent time-served experience within M&E maintenance environments. You would also have hands-on experience of covering the planned and reactive maintenance to Single & three-phase power, UPS, Power Generators, H/V systems, HVAC plant, air conditioning, etc.Candidates will need to have full City &Guilds certificationor equivalent.
