Job summary

RED invites an experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in London or Bicester, with the ability to lead medium to large projects and engage directly with clients. A minimum of seven years in electrical design is required, along with engineering qualifications and progressing Chartered status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' industry experience in electrical design.
• Experience running medium to large projects with client-facing responsibilities.
• Knowledge of UK Regulations and BS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the running of large electrical projects and coordinate engineering services for building installations.
• Develop specifications for controls, instruments, and operating systems.
• Survey and assess existing installations and ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
• Represent the company in technical meetings with clients and contractors.
• Direct liaison with clients and provide project progress advice.
