Job summary

Legrand is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver data centre cooling projects from order to handover. You will coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires travel across the UK and Europe and a hands-on approach to design, installation, commissioning and handover in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data centre cooling, M&E, HVAC or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of cooling technologies used within modern data centres.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors and end users.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financials.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Manage cooling projects from order receipt through to final handover, develop and maintain programmes, budgets and risk registers, ensure equipment is delivered, installed and commissioned.
• Customer Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, establish relationships with consultants, contractors and end users, lead project review meetings, manage customer expectations and commitments.
• Technical Coordination: Work with engineering, manufacturing and service teams to ensure requirements are understood and met, review designs and docs, coordinate site surveys, installation and commissioning plans, resolve technical issues.
• Commercial Responsibility: Track cost performance and gross margin, identify commercial risks, manage subcontractors to meet targets, support contract reviews and obligations.
• Site Activities: Attend meetings, support FATs/SATs, oversee commissioning and handover, ensure health and safety compliance.
