Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking an Applications Engineer to support major data centre projects across the UK and Europe. You will act as the technical link between customers, consultants and Sales, developing feasible solutions and guiding projects through the engineering cycle.

You'll work with mechanical systems including cooling and heat exchangers, apply electrical knowledge to central distribution, and travel within the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering background.
• Some electrical engineering knowledge.
• Confident dealing with customers and consultants.
• Understanding of data centre environments and high-density cooling.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• Live within commutable distance of London.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical liaison between customers, consultants and sales teams.
• Work with mechanical systems including cooling and heat exchangers for data centres.
• Use electrical knowledge to support central electrical distribution solutions.
• Provide customer-facing technical support.
• Cover the EMEA region with some international travel.
