Job summary

Amida Global Pty in the UK/Europe region is seeking an experienced Construction Director to deliver a £500million+ iconic major project. This role bridges corporate leadership and site operations, overseeing multiple large-scale packages and senior staff, while managing client relationships.

You will lead strategic direction, drive safety, quality, schedule, and budget, mentor a high‑performing team from operations, commercial, design, H&S and planning, and steward high‑value negotiations with

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Construction Director or equivalent on large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior staff.
• Strong track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership and high-level operational oversight across one of the project’s packages.
• Drive operational performance, streamline pre-construction and delivery processes.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, with high quality, on schedule, within budget.
• Oversee planning, execution and logistics of multiple complex packages.
• Direct and mentor senior staff across operations, commercial, design, H&S and planning.
• Lead high-value contract negotiations with clients, sub-contractors, and legal teams.
• Identify and manage financial, legal and operational risks.

A Top Tier UK and European Construction Contractor now require the services of an experienced Construction Director to deliver a £500million+ iconic major project.

This Construction Director will bridge the gap between corporate leadership and site operations, managing multiple large-scale packages and developments, senior staff, and handling client relationships.

Key indicates and responsibilities of the role include:

• Strategic leadership and high-level operational oversight across one of the companies iconic projects
• Driving operational performance, streamlining pre-construction and delivery processes
• Ensure all projects are completed safely, to a high quality, on schedule, and within budget, while supporting corporate growth
• Oversee the planning, execution, and logistical requirements of multiple complex construction packages simultaneously
• Direct, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of senior personnel from operations, commercial, design, H&S and planning
• Lead high-value contract negotiations with clients, sub-contractors, and legal teams
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and manage financial, legal, and operational risks
