Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Wherstead, GB. The position supports mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities, with responsibilities spanning hardware installations, migrations, and cabling across complex data center environments.

The candidate should have 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience, strong Cat5e/6/6a and fiber cabling skills, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Professional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
