Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, is seeking a Data Center Technician to support world-class facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on installing, configuring, and maintaining server and network gear to ensure uptime.

You will handle structured cabling, monitor environmental systems, respond to incidents, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams. 3+ years in data center ops, strong troubleshooting, and ITIL familiarity preferred; on-call rotation

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2).
• Familiarity with ITIL practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
