In This Role

Data Center Technician – part of the Infrastructure Operations team.

  • Primary technical resolver for data center infrastructure challenges.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure and hardware within the DCO team.
  • Develop expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Lead resolution of infrastructure issues and coordinate with solution teams.
  • Drive continuous improvements.
  • Shift work; may rotate between locations.
Key Responsibilities
SAFETY
  • Follow and maintain highest safety standards and encourage a world‑class safety culture.
  • Own safety initiatives and projects.
DATA CENTER OPERATIONS (DCO)
  • Diagnose hardware and network problems and perform physical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot events within internal SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • Manually handle and lift equipment within regulatory weight limits.
  • Work rotating shifts (morning, late, night) and weekends for 24/7 coverage.
  • On‑call rotation for off‑duty emergency calls.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience with networking and computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Access to own vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols.
