Job summary

Nebius is hiring an IT Datacenter Technician to maintain and optimize the data center IT infrastructure, including the advanced H200 GPU cloud cluster. You will diagnose server hardware, troubleshoot issues and ensure reliable operations in a growing AI-focused data center in London.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and contractors, hardware installation and documentation, plus maintaining fiber connections and network equipment to support performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving server hardware issues.
• Solid understanding of data center operations and server/network equipment principles.
• Basic proficiency with Linux operating system and command-line tools.
• Experience with server IT hardware, enterprise-grade network switches and fiber optic cables.
• Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, lists and graph creation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to IT hardware and ensure continuous data center support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to address technical and operational challenges.
• Install, upgrade and dismantle hardware based on requests and requirements.
• Maintain connectivity of fiber optic cables and patch cords.
• Plan, execute and monitor regular IT tasks to improve operations.
• Process RMAs in line with manuals and procedures.
• Create clear documentation and manuals for hardware configuration and maintenance.
