AWS seeks a hands-on Electrical/Mechanical Infrastructure Technician to oversee the operation and maintenance of data center facilities in AWS regions. You will ensure high availability of critical electrical and mechanical systems and lead safety programs across a technically diverse team.

The role requires proactive problem solving, process adherence, and the ability to work rotating shifts. Collaboration with engineers and facilities staff is essential to keep data centers performing at peak

Formación

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safety standards and promote a world-class safety culture.
• Operate and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment (UPS, switchgear, ATS, generators, HVAC).
• Take routine readings and monitor temperatures, voltages, currents.
• Supervise contractors for servicing or preventive maintenance.
• Support on-call rotation and shift work as needed.
• Contribute to reliability and availability for customers.
