Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers in London is seeking a Capacity Assignment Specialist (m/f/d) to support global capacity strategy by partnering with Sales, Solutions Engineering and Operations to allocate space and power against revenue opportunities.

You will act as a key link between sales pipeline demand and inventory, ensure governance compliance, optimize utilization, and provide reporting to enable informed planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, operations, analytics, engineering, or related field.
• Multiple years of experience in inventory management, capacity planning, reporting, or analytics roles.
• Working knowledge of data center space, power, and cooling fundamentals.
• Experience with data center, cloud, telecommunications, or infrastructure-focused organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capacity Assignment & Sales Support: Partner with Sales and Solutions to evaluate opportunities and assign space and power per capacity policies.
• Validate availability against the capacity ledger and support holds, reservations, and commits.
• Provide timely confirmations and escalate allocation risks.
• Identify oversubscription or stranded capacity issues and raise them for action.
• Inventory Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor space and power utilization across sites and highlight inefficiencies.
• Support analysis of consolidation or reallocation opportunities to improve usable inventory.
• Partner with Operations to validate constraints and support capacity improvements.
• Reporting & Planning Support: Maintain reporting on inventory availability, utilization and reservation status.
• Prepare inputs for weekly capacity reviews and monthly planning forums.
• Support sales forecasting by aligning pipeline demand with available inventory.
• Governance & Data Integrity: Ensure compliance with governance processes and change control; document allocation decisions.
