Job summary

Dstl is seeking a Data Catalogue Manager to lead the development, governance and maintenance of a defence-wide data catalogue integrated with the Defence Data and Analytics Platforms (DDAP).

You will own the long-term data catalogue strategy, ensure data is findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR), and collaborate with the Data Governance Manager to establish robust governance frameworks across defence and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and governing enterprise data catalogs.
• Strong communication skills to influence across media and audiences.
• Ability to translate business needs into data governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, governance and maintenance of the Dstl-wide data catalogue integrated with DDAP.
• Define and implement a long-term data catalogue strategy aligned to digital transformation and MOD data initiatives.
• Establish, implement and maintain robust data governance frameworks, policies and standards with the Data Governance Manager.
