The Defence Housing Service (DHS) within the Ministry of Defence is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead development and continuous improvement of governance, data quality and information management across housing and related functions. You will establish common definitions, ensure data is accurate and secure, and support informed decision making.

You will collaborate with operational teams and suppliers to maintain standards, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with policy and DHS

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting data governance, information governance, reporting, or BI functions.
• Experience working with data quality issues and driving improvements.
• Experience interpreting and applying governance policies and standards.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders across multiple business areas.
• Experience producing management information and governance documentation.

Aufgaben

• Support the development and maintenance of the DHS Data Governance Framework and governance documentation.
• Implement and maintain data quality monitoring processes and KPIs.
• Maintain issue logs, action trackers and improvement plans.
• Lead development of DHS metrics definitions and KPI metadata repository.
• Clarify business rules to create a single version of the truth.
• Support Data Owners and Data Stewards in governance responsibilities.
• Ensure governance aligns with MOD information management and data governance requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve data quality and integrity.
• Support data exchange controls and system integration governance.
• Advise across DHS when delivering governance training and promoting data culture.
