Job summary

Future Group is seeking a Data Cabling Engineer to deliver structured cabling projects across the UK & Ireland, with occasional overseas work. You will install Cat6/6a, fibre optic, and AV cabling, test and terminate systems, and troubleshoot faults.

The role requires travel and staying away from home with accommodation provided by Future Group. You should have a valid UK driving licence and be capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to travel across the UK and Ireland with occasional overseas work.
• Experience in structured cabling and AV systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structured cabling installations including Cat6, Cat6a, Fibre Optic and Audio Visual cabling.
• Manage testing and termination of cabling systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and fault finding.
• Install various audio visual and network equipment.
• Ensure safe working practices at all times.
• Carry out additional tasks as required.
