Job summary

Future Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Data Cabling Engineer to support delivery of projects across the UK & Ireland. This is an exciting role for someone keen to develop a career in telecommunications, or an experienced engineer seeking progression with a market leader.

Travel and working away from home are required, with accommodation provided by Future Group. You will carry out structured cabling installations, test and terminate cabling, troubleshoot faults, and install audio visual

Qualifications

Time management, multitasking and planning workloads in a busy environment.
Strong communication to follow, interpret and explain technical instructions.
Self-motivated, able to work independently or within a team.
Innovative thinking and ability to learn new technologies.
Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Carrying out structured cabling installations including Cat6, Cat6a, Fibre Optic and Audio Visual cabling across a range of industries.
Manage all testing and termination of cabling systems.
Manage fault finding and troubleshooting of faults.
Installation of various audio visual and network equipment.
Ensure safe practices are carried out at all times.
Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set.
