Job summary

Operations Resources is seeking an experienced Data Cabling Engineer to deliver a range of projects from small add-ons to full data cabling infrastructure for new store openings.

You will join a full-time permanent team, visiting client sites locally and, where necessary, travelling nationwide with occasional overnight stays. Training will be offered for preferred certifications, and a driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on data cabling installations projects, ideally in retail environments.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide and stay away overnight when required.
• Flexibility to work evenings and nights.

Data Cabling Engineer - Retail Installations Projects

Looking for an experience Data Cabler to deliver a range of projects from small additional infrastructure projects, like an extra Wireless AP, to full data cabling infrastructure installations for new store openings of supermarkets.

This Data Cabler role is to join the full-time permanent team. Where possible you will be attending client's sites in the local area, if there is no work locally, you must be willing to travel and, occasionally, stay away (all expenses paid).

Basic salary up to £31600 + lots of overtime potential (around £4K extra), fully expensed company van provided (with personal use), pension, paid holiday, and private health.

• A full manual UK Driving Licence.
• Previous experience on Data Cabling Installations Projects (ideally in retail environments).
• Be flexible to travel UK wide and occasionally do overnight stays.
• Be flexible to work evenings and nights.

Applicants with CSCS or ECS Cards, IPAF / PASMA Tickets and accreditations for Data Cabling Cat 5, Cat 6 and Cat 7 preferred, although training will be offered.
