Job Description:

Robert Half Technology is collaborating with a leading UK-based, multi-site, PE-backed retailer to hire an Interim Data & BI Reporting Specialist.

In this role, reporting to both Technology and Finance leaders, you will work with stakeholders across the business to identify key drivers for reporting standards, define and develop standardised reporting, and drive company-wide reporting to support commercial decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include establishing relevant KPI definitions, analysing current practices, assessing system capabilities, and identifying skill gaps. You will create a strategic road-map to implement streamlined and efficient reporting procedures, ensuring accurate and timely data extraction for valuable business insights.

A key aspect of this role involves managing people change. You will need to manage both up and down the line to gain buy-in from all business areas, drive cultural shifts towards more efficient practices, and provide training on new process adoption.

Applicants should have proven experience in both strategy and delivery, with a focus on building Data/BI capability, enhancing data quality from manual processes and disparate systems, standardising reporting, and automating processes.

Start Date: Available within the coming weeks.

Contract Duration: 9 months +
