Job description

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Data Assurance Manager to join our Performance & Information Directorate. This role offers the individual the opportunity to lead the Trust in delivering its ambitions of providing high-quality, complete, and accurate data to support analysis, research, and decision-making within the Trust.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure the Trust has appropriate standards, systems, processes, and training to guarantee high-quality, complete, and accurate data for analytical, research, and corporate needs.
• Develop the Trust’s Data Quality and Assurance Policy and Data Quality (DQ) Programme aligned with national initiatives and local requirements to improve data quality.
• Establish data entry and classification standards and strategies to meet and sustain these standards within available resources.
• Design and embed a data quality framework for monitoring and managing Trust data collection, transformation, and processing against standards.
• Regularly monitor data quality and communicate findings and issues to stakeholders and data owners.
