Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Data Architect to design and build data solutions across our multi-brand operations. You will work with Product Owners and Engineering to deliver scalable data models and high-performance analytics handling vast datasets.

Bring expertise in DV 2.0, Kimball dimensional modelling, 3NF, Data Vault and ELT pipelines to shape end-to-end data architecture while promoting best practices and data governance across Tech.

Qualifications

• Experience with large, high-volume data environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience in DV 2.0 and Kimball dimensional modelling.
• Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build leading-edge data solutions and models.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering to deliver data requirements.
• Triiage new requirements, assess impact, and estimate data model changes.
• Develop and enhance business data models to meet evolving needs.
• Act as custodian of data models and ensure adherence to standards.
• Document, communicate and centrally manage data models across teams.
