Job summary

Sainsbury's Bank is seeking a Data Architect to design and build advanced data solutions in a high-volume, semi-structured data environment. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data models and analytics capabilities.

In this role you will act as custodian of data models, promote best practices, and guide architecture decisions while leveraging Data Vault, 3NF and dimensional modelling techniques to drive business value at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume data and analytics
• Stakeholder management experience
• Strong understanding of DV 2.0 and Kimball modelling
• Knowledge of 3NF, Dimensional and Data Vault
• Experience as data modeller/architect and data warehousing

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced data solutions and models
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers and cross-functional teams
• Triage new requirements and estimate data model changes
• Develop business physical data models for evolving needs
• Act as custodian of data models and ensure standards are followed
• Document and manage data models and promote alignment across teams
