Job summary

dmg media seeks an experienced Data Architect to define and govern data architecture across its hybrid technology estate, spanning cloud platforms (AWS and GCP), hosted data centres, and on-premises systems. You will map, optimise, and document data flows, ensuring standards are applied across projects within a complex multi-environment landscape.

Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you will engage early in initiatives, produce governance-quality designs, and collaborate with engineering,

Qualifications

Design and govern data architectures across cloud, hosted, and on-prem environments.
Define and enforce data architecture standards and governance.
Engage early in projects to design and document architecture before build.
Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Data Flow Mapping & Optimisation across AWS, GCP, hosted data centres and on-premises systems.
Define, document and maintain data architecture standards, patterns, and principles.
Engage on projects that change the tech or data estate from discovery to delivery.
Design and govern data architecture across a hybrid estate with clear ownership.
Lead data platform design across cloud estate for lakehouse, real-time and batch pipelines.
