Job summary
Formula 1 is seeking a Data Architect (FTC) to join a team of software developers and data architects supporting the F1 championship. The role involves designing and documenting data architecture, modernising systems, and contributing to CI/CD improvements.
Onsite support at Biggin Hill is part of a rotating schedule during race weekends. The candidate will work with master data, analytical platforms, and both relational/non-relational databases, applying data governance and lifecycle practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years designing and delivering data solutions.
- 2+ years applying architecture standards and design patterns.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to evolution of data architecture and tooling.
- Design and document data architecture solutions to meet requirements.
- Support architecture initiatives and roadmaps within projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners and stakeholders.
- Mentor less experienced team members and provide guidance.
- Provide onsite technical support at Biggin Hill/Trackside during race weekends.
