Job summary

Agntx in the United Kingdom is seeking a Data Architect for a 12‑month contract (Inside IR35). The role features hybrid working with 2 days on-site in Leeds, and a day rate of £625. This position sits within a government benefits modernisation programme and focuses on data rather than BI or apps.

You will own data requirements across the programme, document data structures, ensure compliant data flows, and act as the bridge between data stakeholders, delivery teams and the central data function.

Qualifications

• Expertise in data architecture design and modelling techniques.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management, metadata management and data governance.
• Ability to present data architecture to governance forums and stakeholders.
• Experience with event-based architecture including publish-subscribe and data streaming.
• Proficiency in cloud hosting with AWS/Azure/GCP and DevOps/CI-CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the data requirements and objectives for the programme.
• Document data structures, data processes and required systems.
• Ensure data flows to appropriate destinations and meets statutory reporting.
• Bridge data stakeholders, delivery teams and central data function.
• Present architecture designs to governance forums.
• Shape and support technology initiatives across the programme.
