Job summary

prosource.it is seeking two Data Architects to join our Scotland team, with roles based in Glasgow, Perth or Aberdeen. You will shape and evolve data architecture across strategic and delivery initiatives, driving data quality, governance and interoperability to support a major regulatory programme.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements and provide architectural leadership across a portfolio of digital initiatives, ensuring scalable data

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Architecture and/or Data Modelling, with a track record of delivering scalable, well-structured data solutions.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments, with a strong understanding of data integration and data exchange at scale.
• Ability to think strategically and link data architecture decisions to wider business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and influence decisions at all levels.
• Experience analysing and interpreting strategic plans, identifying opportunities to improve data flows and data quality.
• Collaborative approach across business and technical teams with governance focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve data domain architectures that support business activities, ensuring scalable solutions aligned with long-term goals.
• Design structure and layout of data systems and platforms, assessing impact of business change on architecture and prioritising improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements and build trusted relationships.
• Ensure data designs align with overall architecture and resolve issues early for successful delivery.
• Work with application and integration teams to deliver reliable, well-documented integrations that meet standards.
