Job Title: Data Architect (AI Specialism)

Location: London

Corporate Title: Vice President

The Group Architecture team drives the development of a clear target state architecture for Deutsche Bank, together with governance processes, supporting tools, standards, and frameworks required to deliver this. This involves strong collaboration across Deutsche Bank, working closely with federated business, infrastructure, and CDI teams.

The Data Architecture team within Group Architecture plays a vital role in delivering the Data components of the IT strategy, defining the Data Architecture roadmap and standards, and exploring opportunities for technology such as Cloud and AI.

Your key responsibilities

• Leading a key part of the Data Architecture team, providing strategic guidance, best practice design, and mentorship
• Defining and driving data architecture standards and requirements for AI
• Supporting the creation of AI use cases aligned with data architecture strategy, governance tooling, and mesh architecture deployment
• Collaborating across teams to design enterprise solutions aligned with business and data strategies
• Working with technology teams to design target architecture, blueprints, roadmaps, and implementation plans for data projects
• Conducting architecture reviews to identify risks, recommend mitigations, and ensure compliance

Your skills and experience

• Experience in architecture within Financial Services, especially in front office, Risk, Finance, or Treasury systems
• Proven experience in designing and deploying AI tooling architectures and use cases
• Knowledge of data management principles, including governance, quality, and integration
• Ability to design scalable, secure enterprise solutions with data Mesh and Data Product patterns
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in large-scale data projects within regulated environments
