Job summary

Tria is seeking a Data Architect to define and evolve its enterprise-wide data architecture, supporting product development, analytics and business transformation. The role is based in Worcestershire or Hampshire with a hybrid pattern of 2 days onsite.

You will define architecture principles, design models, and shape data platforms, governance, and migrations to modern cloud platforms, providing direction across data and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience defining enterprise data architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks and data platforms.
• Experience with batch, streaming, and event-driven architectures.

The role

• Define enterprise data architecture principles, standards and roadmaps.
• Design conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Shape the use of data platforms, integration and data governance.
• Support large-scale migration from heritage systems to modern cloud platforms.
• Provide architectural direction across data and engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Strong enterprise Data Architecture experience.
• Databricks - essential.
• Cloud data platform experience; Azure desirable.
• Strong knowledge of batch, streaming, event-driven and medallion architectures.
• Advanced data modelling skills.
• Experience with complex, long-term data migrations highly desirable.
• Insurance experience beneficial, but not essential.
