Job summary

Tria is seeking a Data Architect to define and evolve its enterprise data architecture, supporting product development, analytics and business transformation. The role will set standards and roadmaps across platforms, and drive large-scale migrations to modern cloud data platforms.

You will partner with data and engineering teams to ensure robust data modelling, governance and scalable data pipelines in a hybrid working arrangement.

Location: Worcestershire or Hampshire - hybrid, 2 days per week onsite

Type: Permanent

We're supporting a leading technology organisation looking to appoint a Data Architect to define and evolve its enterprise-wide data architecture, supporting product development, analytics and wider business transformation.

The role

• Define enterprise data architecture principles, standards and roadmaps.
• Design conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Shape the use of data platforms, integration and data governance.
• Support large-scale migration from heritage systems to modern cloud platforms.
• Provide architectural direction across data and engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Strong enterprise Data Architecture experience.
• Databricks - essential.
• Cloud data platform experience; Azure desirable.
• Strong knowledge of batch, streaming, event-driven and medallion architectures.
• Advanced data modelling skills.
• Experience with complex, long-term data migrations highly desirable.
• Insurance experience beneficial, but not essential.
