The Role

The Data Architect (DA) is a key member of our Global Services team, responsible for ensuring the correct and optimal implementation and maintenance of data processes for our clients and partners. The DA is the data expert at Marigold, providing advice, best practices, and collaborating on solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Success in this role requires being customer-focused, technically proficient, committed to continuous improvement, and detail-oriented to ensure high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

1. Execute integration projects connecting client and partner systems with the Selligent platform.
2. Maintain and optimize the performance of client and partner instances of Selligent.
3. Understand the underlying consumer data powering client programs and communicate this understanding to clients and partners.
4. Translate business use-cases into technical data requirements.
5. Estimate project scopes and manage deliverables accordingly.
6. Troubleshoot and diagnose data issues within the Selligent platform.
7. Collaborate with team members and take on new assignments positively.

Ideal Qualifications

1. University degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or similar, or equivalent experience.
2. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
3. 3+ years of experience with Microsoft T-SQL in a Data Cloud environment.
4. Knowledge of ASP.NET, WCF, AWS, SOAP, REST, XML/XSL, and integration techniques.
5. Strong communication skills to consult with marketers.
6. Ability to work with remote teams across time zones.
7. Experience in digital marketing and loyalty industries is preferred.
