Job summary

Cyber Security training courses is recruiting a Data Architect to shape enterprise data architecture in a hybrid Preston-based role. You will design scalable data solutions, govern data assets, and align data delivery with strategic priorities across platforms.

The position requires senior data experience, strong governance knowledge, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders while working across architecture, engineering and business teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data-focused role.
• Strong background in data modelling, integration, and architecture frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data governance & metadata management.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly.

The Opportunity

An established and forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Data Architect to join a high-performing Architecture & Strategy function. This is a key role responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide data architecture to support critical business operations, analytics and decision-making.

You’ll play a central role in designing scalable, secure, and future-ready data solutions across a complex environment, working closely with senior stakeholders to align technical delivery with strategic priorities.
