Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd is recruiting an Enterprise Data Architect with Databricks experience for a hybrid role in the West Midlands. The role focuses on bringing the data architecture back in-house, delivering Databricks-based data lakes, governance, and a data roadmap.

You will be an individual contributor driving future cloud migrations and data strategy. The candidate will work across Azure cloud environments, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead technical direction while operating in

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise data architectures for large-scale systems.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks modelling and data lake design.
• Ability to set data strategy and roadmaps with stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the data architecture and act as an individual contributor.
• Lead design decisions for Databricks, DSBC and data lake implementations.
• Migrate customer data to cloud-based servers as part of upcoming projects.
• Ensure governance and compliance standards are met across data platforms.

I am working with a client in the West Midlands who are looking for an Enterprise level Data Architect with Databricks experience to join the team.

Databricks is an absolute necessity for this role.

The architecture has been outsourced up to this point, and is being brought back in house, so you should be experienced enough to take over responsibility for this.

You will act as an individual contributor within the team.

Upcoming projects include migration of customer data to newer, cloud based servers.

• Experience with Canonical Model design patterns
• Cleansing and ETL
• Creation and design of data systems including best practice standards principles
• Responsibility for the Data Roadmap
