The Preston-based Data Architect role sits in a forward-thinking Architecture & Strategy function. This full-time, permanent position offers hybrid/flexible working and up to £85,000 per annum plus benefits.

You will shape enterprise-wide data architecture to support analytics and decision-making, design scalable data solutions, govern metadata, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align delivery with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data-focused role
• Strong background in data modelling, integration, and architecture frameworks
• Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, EA principles, and regulatory/compliance requirements

The Opportunity

An established and forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Data Architect to join a high-performing Architecture & Strategy function. This is a key role responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide data architecture to support critical business operations, analytics, and decision-making.

You'll play a central role in designing scalable, secure, and future-ready data solutions across a complex environment, working closely with senior stakeholders to align technical delivery with strategic priorities.
