The role is hybrid, with in-office twice per week, offering a clear data strategy and opportunities to lead architectural modernization across cloud-based platforms.

Databricks is an absolute necessity for this role.

The architecture has been outsourced up to this point, and is being brought back in house, so you should be experienced enough to take over responsibility for this.

You will act as an individual contributor within the team.

Upcoming projects include migration of customer data to newer, cloud based servers.

Skills and Experience: Enterprise level Data Architecture Databricks Modelling Technical authority / Leadership Experience with Canonical Model design patterns Cleansing and ETL Creation and design of data systems including best practice standards principles Responsibility for the Data Roadmap Databricks, Data Lakes, Data Visualisation, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Data Governance and Compliance standards Azure Cloud Excellent stakeholder communication Setting long term strategy.
