Job summary

First Choice Homes Oldham is offering a Data Apprentice role within the Data Team. You’ll gain a Level 4 data qualification through Kaplan while earning money and gaining practical experience in a busy organisation.

You will learn to analyse data, produce reports and dashboards, and develop skills in Power BI, SQL and data governance. The apprenticeship combines paid employment with structured learning and mentoring from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Two A Levels, an International Baccalaureate or another Level 3 qualification, such as a BTEC Extended Diploma
• At least 12 months of work experience within the last 24 months, where you don’t hold another Level 3 qualification

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret data to support trends and opportunities
• Assist in production and validation of management information and performance reports
• Create reports and visualisations using Power BI
• Develop understanding of SQL and data engineering tools
• Investigate data issues and support corrective action
• Document data flows, systems and processes
• Prepare data literacy guidance and training materials
• Support data governance and analytics projects
