Job summary

Forward Role is seeking an experienced Data Science & AI Trainer to deliver GenAI, Python and Data Science training. The role combines remote delivery with UK travel to training centres and client sites, including public sector programmes.

The ideal candidate will design learner-centred courseware, stay current with GenAI concepts, and obtain SC security clearance if not already held. Expect a permanent, full-time position with salary £70,000-£80,000.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering technical training to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of GenAI concepts and prompt engineering.
• Solid grounding in machine learning techniques and Python, including NumPy.
• Experience designing learner-centred courseware.
• Eligible for, and willing to obtain, SC security clearance.
• Desirable: TensorFlow or PyTorch experience; cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led GenAI, Data Science and Python training to government and enterprise clients, virtually and face to face.
• Teach vendor-specific and bespoke courses covering prompt engineering and ML techniques.
• Design and develop courseware using instructional design principles tailored to client requirements.
• Act as SME and feed insight into course development and client programmes.

• Keep certifications and technical knowledge current.

Data Science & AI Trainer (SC Clearance) | Home-Based + UK Travel | £70,000 - £80,000 | Permanent

I'm working with a leading UK technology training provider that is growing its Data Science and AI delivery team on government-facing programmes. You'll deliver GenAI, machine learning and Python training to public sector and enterprise learners. You'll also help shape how the courses are built, rather than just teaching someone else's slides.

The role:

• Deliver instructor-led GenAI, Data Science and Python training to government and enterprise clients, both virtually and face to face
• Teach vendor-specific and bespoke courses covering prompt engineering, machine learning techniques and the NumPy ecosystem
• Design and develop courseware using instructional design principles and adult learning theory, tailored to client requirements
• Act as a subject matter expert, feeding insight into course development and client programmes
• Meet trainer satisfaction and observation targets, and take part in peer observations
• Keep your certifications and technical knowledge current

Essential:

• Proven experience delivering technical training or facilitation to both technical and non-technical audiences, virtually and in person
• Strong knowledge of GenAI concepts and prompt engineering
• Solid grounding in machine learning techniques and Python, including the NumPy ecosystem
• Experience designing learner-centred courseware
• Eligible for, and willing to obtain, SC security clearance

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP, and any relevant cloud certifications
• Degree in Maths or a related subject, or an MSc/PhD in Data Science, AI or Computer Science
• Experience working alongside AI/ML engineers and data scientists
