Job summary

Morgan Philips Group is seeking a Data and Analytics Project Manager to lead a Microsoft Fabric / Power BI data platform programme from Stevenage. You will manage end-to-end data pipelines from Salesforce, oversee Zoho to Salesforce migration, and drive governance and escalation through programme levels.

The role emphasizes senior stakeholder collaboration, complex delivery across multiple teams and third parties, and a transition plan to BAU with runbooks and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience delivering data and analytics programmes (data platforms, BI, integration, migration).
  • Strong technical project management to govern data-heavy workstreams and delivery across specialists.
  • Proven delivery of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI projects (or Azure Data & Analytics with Fabric exposure).
  • Experience ingesting/integrating SaaS data (Salesforce) into a modern data platform with orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce data structures and reporting; CRM data pipelines desirable.
  • CRM migrations (e.g., Zoho to Salesforce) including cutover planning and reconciliation/validation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with senior stakeholders; strong collaboration and influence.
  • Risk/issue/dependency management with escalation and change control practices.
  • Degree or equivalent; PRINCE2/AgilePM and/or Agile delivery experience.
  • Financial/corporate reporting experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of a Microsoft Fabric / Power BI data platform, ensuring scope, timelines, budget and quality are controlled through to completion.
  • Manage delivery of the end-to-end reporting pipeline from Salesforce into the Fabric-based data platform (ingestion, modelling/semantic layer alignment, refresh and reporting readiness).
  • Manage a CRM (e.g., Zoho) to Salesforce data migration including data mapping, cleansing, migration planning, cutover approach, reconciliation and business sign-off.
  • Drive project structure, governance, RAID, decision logs and clear reporting (Programme/working groups), ensuring escalation routes are effective.
  • Build and manage detailed integrated plans, schedules, dependencies and critical milestones across internal teams and third-party partners (Confidence using Microsoft Azure DevOps Boards a bonus).
  • Navigate complex stakeholder groups, align technical and business priorities, and influence outcomes to maintain pace and delivery focus.
  • Oversee service readiness and transition to BAU, including operational handover, support model, runbooks and knowledge transfer.

Data and Analytics Project Manager

  • Start date - 1st of September
  • 600 per day - Inside IR35
  • Site address - Stevenage in Hertfordshire (min. once a week)
Key Responsibilities:

Skills and Experience (Priority Order)
  • Extensive experience delivering data and analytics programmes/projects (data platforms, BI/reporting, integration and migration).
  • Strong technical project management capability: able to plan and govern data-heavy workstreams and manage delivery across specialists/suppliers.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI delivery (or Azure Data & Analytics with strong Fabric exposure).
  • Experience delivering data ingestion/integration from SaaS platforms (ideally Salesforce) into a modern data platform, including orchestration and refresh management.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures and reporting requirements; experience managing Salesforce-related data pipelines is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience leading CRM (e.g., Zoho) to Salesforce data migrations, including cutover planning and data reconciliation/validation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience, including complex and senior stakeholder interactions; strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Strong risk/issue/dependency management with clear escalation and change control practices.
  • Degree or equivalent; professional qualification advantageous (PRINCE2/AgilePM and/or strong Agile delivery experience).
  • Financial/corporate reporting experience is advantageous (nice to have rather than essential).
