Job summary

easyJet holidays is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join the Technology Team. You will build data pipelines and analytics, transforming stakeholder goals into practical data products across the business.

You will deliver live dashboards and AI agents, while mentoring other engineers and ensuring data governance. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working from our Luton-area HQ.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and Python development, including version control with Git.
• Experience creating visualisations and analytics using Thoughtspot/Tableau/Power BI.
• Experience setting up and developing ETL/ELT tooling (Dagster, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Airflow or dbt).
• Experience with AWS-based data tooling, and some exposure to GCP.

Responsibilities

• Build live dashboards and AI agents using Thoughtspot and Redshift, translating business needs into visuals.
• Develop Python and SQL data pipelines in Dagster and AWS, document and test data models with dbt.
• Contribute to the DataOps framework and tooling, improve patterns where possible.
• Ensure governance and compliance across the data estate meets regulatory requirements.
• Mentor Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists, including supplier teams.
• Carry out ad hoc analyses and model development as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover new data-driven opportunities.
