Job summary

easyJet holidays is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to build data products, visualisations and pipelines that empower the business to access accurate data quickly.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science to deliver reliable analytics and raise the data maturity across the organisation, with a hybrid working model based near Luton.

Qualifications

• Experience across data analysis and data engineering with strong SQL and Python development including Git.
• Experience with visualization/analytics tools such as Thoughtspot, Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience setting up ETL/ELT tooling like Dagster, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Airflow or dbt.
• Experience with AWS data tooling, with some exposure to GCP.
• Logical, methodical problem solving with strong numerical/analytic background.
• Track record of managing complex technical data teams across disciplines.
• Comfort with stakeholders to translate goals into data products.
• Ability to explain complex concepts simply and think about impact of change.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Build Liveboards and AI Agents using Thoughtspot and Redshift to create clear visualisations.
• Develop Python and SQL data pipelines within Dagster and AWS ecosystem; document/test data models with dbt.
• Contribute to the DataOps framework and tooling; improve patterns.
• Ensure governance and regulatory compliance across the data estate.
• Mentor Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists, including supplier teams.
• Carry out ad hoc analysis and model development as needed.
• Work with stakeholders to discover new data use cases and uplift the data community.
