Job summary

Motability Operations Limited is seeking a data & analytics professional to join the team on a fixed-term contract through September 2027. The role focuses on designing and building data feeds and apps, ETL development in Oracle ODI and Snowflake, and enabling self-serve BI environments for business users across the data lake and warehouse.

You’ll deliver BI reports, support data quality and governance, and collaborate in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building data warehouses/lakehouses using ETL/ELT tools, preferably Oracle ODI.
• Strong database development experience with Snowflake, Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of dimensional modelling and star schema design.
• Excellent SQL development and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with JSON, XML and CSV data formats.
• Proven ability translating business requirements into robust BI/data solutions.
• Experience delivering within an Agile development environment.
• Practical experience developing and supporting cloud-based data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data feeds and related applications in an agile scrum team.
• Write, test and peer review ETL code in Oracle ODI and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with business users to configure self-serve data environments in Snowflake data lake.
• Analyse, develop, deliver and manage BI reports.
• Assist in data processes design including data quality, reconciliation, testing and governance.
• Release and support software through production environments and UAT sign-offs.
• Assist in prioritisation and estimation.
