Your Work

In the Data & Analytics Team you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. You will design, build, and manage end-to-end data analytics pipelines and dashboards, enabling our teams to make data-driven decisions. You'll be joining an ambitious, high-energy, high-output team that has a can-do attitude. We are dedicated to increasing efficiency and bringing structure to complexity. This role is dynamic and fast-paced, perfect for someone who thrives in such an environment and is eager to make a significant impact.

In this role, you will:

  1. Develop and maintain data pipelines that collect, process, and transform data from various sources into our Snowflake data warehouse
  2. Be an advanced user of Python (and pandas) for data processing and transformation tasks
  3. Utilise dbt to orchestrate data transformations and manage data models
  4. Optimise and manage ETL processes, including building bespoke solutions to replace or augment existing Fivetran implementations
  5. Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Omni (Looker equivalent), providing actionable insights to the business
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  7. Ensure data quality and consistency, implementing validation, testing, and documentation best practices
  8. Contribute to our data analytics strategy, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Experience

You will be a great fit if you:

  1. Have 3+ years of experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role, working with complex datasets in both start-up and corporate environments
  2. Are highly proficient in Python, particularly with data processing libraries such as Pandas
  3. Have strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses like Snowflake and databases like PostgreSQL
  4. Are familiar with ETL tools like Fivetran and have experience building custom ETL solutions
  5. Have experience with data orchestration tools like dbt
  6. Have worked with BI tools like Omni or Looker and have a strong understanding of data visualisation best practices
  7. Have experience integrating and automating data processes with Google Sheets
  8. Are familiar with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
  9. Have knowledge or experience with web scraping tools and techniques
  10. Have a strong understanding of data quality practices and data governance
  11. Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  12. Have strong communication skills and can work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  13. Are excited about working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and are eager to learn
Location

This role can be remote or hybrid. Our office is based in Marylebone.
