Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates is recruiting a Data Analyst for a leading utilities service provider in the Hampshire area. The role is office-based and you must be a car owner/driver as it is not accessible by public transport.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week). The main purpose is to review data from underground logging equipment to detect leaks or issues in the water network, enabling field teams to locate and fix problems.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an office environment preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel).
• Good problem‑solving ability.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team to achieve targets is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review data from underground logging equipment and devices deployed in the field.
• Issue work packs for Logging Technicians and Supervisors.
• Adhere to deadlines for suspected leak investigations.
• Produce follow up packs with all relevant information to support investigations.
• Maintain and update trackers and the inhouse system.
• Liaise with colleagues to review targeting for Noise Logging.
• Work with the Logging Supervisor to ensure timely reports.
• Liaise with Technicians to provide updates and support.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Collaborate with Administrators and raise improvement suggestions.
