Job summary

Costa Coffee is seeking a Data Analyst for Supply Chain & Procurement to transform data into actionable insights. You will build scalable Power BI reporting and provide clear views of supplier performance, costs, service and inventory to influence business decisions.

The role emphasizes ownership of reporting initiatives, collaboration with finance, operations and commercial teams, and a focus on data quality, performance, and automation as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Advanced Power BI, DAX and SQL capabilities.
• Experience delivering insight into Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or Finance.
• Clear communicator translating business questions into actionable reports.
• Ability to own reporting initiatives from discovery to adoption.
• Experience designing scalable reporting with clear KPIs and rules.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and continuous improvement of Supply Chain and Procurement reporting in Power BI.
• Develop analyses around supplier performance, cost, service, inventory and demand.
• Design reusable semantic models, DAX measures and reporting datasets with consistent KPIs.
• Investigate trends, root causes and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Improve data quality, report performance, automation, documentation and adoption.

What you’ll do

Being an Data Analyst – Supply Chain & Procurement is about turning data into practical action across our operations and commercial teams. You’ll be:

• Owning the end-to-end delivery and continuous improvement of Supply Chain and Procurement reporting in Power BI.
• Developing analysis across supplier performance, cost, service, inventory, demand and operational efficiency.
• Designing reusable semantic models, DAX measures and reporting datasets, with clear and consistent KPIs and business rules.
• Investigating trends, exceptions and root causes, translating your findings into recommendations that support business action.
• Improving data quality, report performance, automation, documentation and adoption while reducing manual effort and duplicated reporting.

Who you are

It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:

• An experienced data analyst with advanced Power BI, DAX and SQL capability, plus strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modelling.
• Commercially curious, with experience delivering insight into Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance or a related environment.
• A clear communicator who can translate business questions into practical, scalable reporting for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Confident managing priorities with autonomy, using structured problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
• Experienced in owning reporting or analytics initiatives from discovery through to testing, adoption and ongoing support.

Right now, our Support Centre teams work flexibly, blending home working with in-person time whenever it matters most – whether that’s a team moment, a creative session, or simply coming together to share ideas.

We’re excited to be moving into a new home for our brand in St Albans in January 2027 – an inspiring space from which our Support Centre teams will work three days a week to connect and collaborate in-person to bring our bold ambition to life.
