Job summary

Gofractional in London is seeking a data analytics professional to translate business problems into validated data assets and deliver insights across the data lifecycle.

You will work under a Senior Analyst and Manager, building data dictionaries, transforming raw data with modular SQL, and creating dashboards using Tableau, Mode, or PowerBI. This is a 12‑month fixed-term contract with 2–3 days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in data analytics or BI roles.
• Ability to translate business problems into data assets.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience building reports with Tableau/Mode/PowerBI.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Turn defined business problems into clean, validated data assets.
• Bridge gap between raw data and business answers.
• 12 Month FTC role based in London.
• Assist in workshops to capture user requirements and rules.
• Create data dictionaries and mapping documents.
• Map existing business processes to data capture.
• Write modular SQL queries to transform data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to flag issues.
• Run tests for UAT against new solutions.
• Build visualizations (Tableau/Mode/PowerBI) per specs.
• Monitor dashboards for performance and data freshness.
